Stefan Bruder, author, M&A partner and speaker on Leadership under Pressure

Stefan Bruder knows the reality of demanding high-performance environments from first-hand experience.

For more than two decades, he has worked as a lawyer in international law firms. Today he is a partner in the Corporate / M&A practice of a global law firm and leads its M&A practice across Europe and the Middle East. Complex negotiations, time pressure, far-reaching decisions and responsibility for clients and teams are part of his daily reality.

At the same time, he has practised and taught yoga and different breathing techniques for many years. As a trained yoga teacher, he has explored both traditional breathing teachings and modern perspectives on stress, the nervous system and self-regulation.

In “Deep Breath Experience”, he brings these two worlds together. The focus is not short-term self-optimisation, but the capacity to remain clear, present and effective over time without permanently sacrificing health and quality of life. His overarching field is Leadership under Pressure; Executive Self-Regulation is the core capability and The Executive Reset the practical method. Stefan Bruder is the father of five children.

The connecting question

How do we remain capable of acting in the middle of a demanding life?

Stefan Bruder has never been interested in breathwork primarily as an escape from a demanding life, but as a practice within that life: before difficult conversations, between meetings, after intense negotiations, while travelling or when transitioning into recovery.

The result is an approach that values performance and health, remains practical while offering depth, and avoids wellness rhetoric, guru narratives and optimisation at any cost.

Positioning

To lead others under pressure, you must first be able to lead your own state. The outcomes are clarity, presence, decision quality and sustainable high performance.
